Imperial Building Solutions was founded by long-term friends Danny Hakimi and Steve Summers in 2014. Pulling from their 20 years of experience in the building industry and project management, they are committed to providing an elegant finish where attention to detail is paramount. They have built up a team of attentive professionals who bring a range of expert skills and craftsmanship. This enables clients to relax in knowing their project will be taken care of to the highest standards.

Working across London, the team have had the pleasure of working on some amazing properties and bringing them back to life. Each project provides an opportunity to look for creative solutions that make the most out of the space and respect original features whilst contrasting them with modern touches.

With a background in estate agency and over a decade running his own recruitment business, Steve has always been driven by one thing: people. His deep understanding of how environments shape performance — whether through attracting the right talent or unlocking asset value — led to the founding of Imperial.

As Commercial Director, Steve is the strategic lead behind Imperial’s relationships and reputation. He is focused on building a team of experts who care about their craft and deliver with purpose, precision, and pride. His passion for people and property runs through every project, ensuring each space created by Imperial not only performs commercially, but also supports the people who use it every day.

Whether helping landlords elevate their assets or enabling tenants to attract and retain top talent, Steve ensures Imperial delivers work that goes beyond the build — creating meaningful spaces with lasting impact.

His background has shaped a meticulous, quality-led approach that underpins Imperial’s turnkey office fit-out offering. From first concept to final handover, Danny ensures each project is executed to the highest standards — on time, on budget, and without compromise.

As Operations Director, he leads the delivery team with a calm, solutions-focused mindset. Danny is a firm believer that transparency is the foundation of trust. His commitment to open, honest communication has helped forge long-term relationships with clients who value clarity, consistency, and results.
